These terms govern your use of Level Up ("the app," "we," "us"). By using the app — and, if you choose to sign in, by creating an account — you agree to them. If you do not agree, please don't use the app.
Zero tolerance. Level Up does not tolerate objectionable content or abusive behavior. If you post it, or harass or abuse other users, we may remove your content and permanently terminate your account.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the app. If you sign in to use the social features, you're responsible for the activity on your account.
The optional social features let you enter a small amount of text and imagery that other users can see: your display name, an avatar from a fixed list, and the name and optional "wager" line of a group challenge you create. You are solely responsible for this content, and you agree that it will not:
By submitting content, you grant us the limited right to store and display it to the friends you connect with, solely to operate the app.
Don't harass, bully, threaten, or abuse other users. Don't attempt to access accounts or data that aren't yours, disrupt the service, or use the app to break the law. A "nudge" and a group challenge are meant to encourage a friend — not to harass them.
Every user can block another user (which immediately stops all requests and nudges between you) and report a user or a challenge whose content is inappropriate. Reports reach us and are reviewed within 24 hours. We may remove content, and suspend or permanently terminate accounts, that violate these terms — with or without notice. We aim to act on objectionable content and abusive users promptly.

Your progress photos, bodyweight, and notes stay on your device and are never uploaded. What is stored when you sign in, and how, is described in our Privacy Policy.
Level Up is free to use. Level Up Pro is an optional upgrade sold through Apple's In-App Purchase, either as an auto-renewable subscription or a one-time purchase:
Prices are in U.S. dollars and may vary by region. The exact price and any trial terms are always shown on the purchase screen before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Auto-renewal. A subscription renews automatically for the same period at the then-current price unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends. If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you buy a subscription that covers that period.
Managing your subscription. You can view, manage, or cancel your subscription at any time in your device's Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions (or the App Store account menu → Subscriptions). Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
License and refunds. Your purchase grants a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Level Up Pro features for the applicable period; it does not transfer ownership of the app. All purchases are processed by Apple and are also governed by Apple's standard End User License Agreement (EULA). Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
Level Up is a motivational fitness-tracking app, not a source of medical, health, or fitness advice. Consult a qualified professional before starting or changing any exercise program. You use the app at your own risk.
The app is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for Level Up in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account, which permanently erases your server-side data. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms.
We may update these terms; if we do, we'll revise the effective date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
